Lotsa difference between Pdog shooting and BG hunting. Same thing with hunting from a stand and stalking.

Aim for the exit hole.

I have several thumbholes with my favorite being my 6.5-06 with a custom made walnut and maple laminated stock. I made it for hunting antelope and it works great for that type of hunting, but I don't like it for all day wandering around brushy canyons and hilltops, because the weight balance seems to be different and it digs into my hips and side more hanging from the sling.
However I wish all my rifles fit as good and solid when I shoulder them to shoot as this one does. Like everything else, it is a trade off of good features and not so good.

My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost....
