If a 30-06 won't give 'ya 3000fps w/a 180gr bullet using normal barrel lengths, how the hell would a 308, and if it does, keep that schit away from me, I wouldn't risk ruining my rifle over some supposed "super ammo", [bleep] that. That's what I don't get about some people, if they don't like the velocity of a given cartridge, why don't they get one in the velocity range that they want rather than trying to magnumize a [bleep]' standard cartridge. Btw, this isn't pointed at anyone here, just bitching about the fact people do that, I run into them all the time at the gun shop, guys that didn't even learn the basics of reloading yet they're gonna turn their 308 Winchester into a [bleep]' 300 Magnum by handloading it vey stupidly, I always explain to these eggheads how dangerous that is, then they look at me and talk to me like I'm [bleep]' retarded, go figure.
