I have for sale what is probably the neatest looking little gun I have ever owned. It's a genuine Colt Peacemaker .22 with .22LR and .22Magnum cylinders. Serial number is G164XXX. The barrel (measured from the cylinder) is 4 3/8" long, which I assume translates into the 4.4" barrel listed on Colt information sites. The sites are traditional fixed type. The gun has obviously been used, but overall it is in excellent condition. The bluing is dark and rich, and the frame is case hardened. I have all the tags and papers plus the original styrofoam box liner. I do not have the original cardboard outer box. There is a tiny ding in the bluing on the end of the barrel (not near muzzle) and a spot on the case hardened top strap that appears to be light corrosion -- it could be part of the case hardening, but I am not expert enough to tell the difference. The LR cylinder shows more use than the MAG cylinder. I am showing one photo for now to gauge interest. I am taking close-ups with macro lens today and will have detailed photos available for those interested. In doing my research, I found prices all over the board -- $400.00-$800.00. I'll put this Peacemaker up at halfway between -- $600.00 shipped FFL to FFL.
Thanks, Davis for those words of encouragement. Several folks have sent me PM's with similar support. From what I learned researching the value of this neat little handgun, they sold for around $100.00 new. My "bargain of a lifetime" is my pre-64 Model 70 in 300 H&H Magnum. I was able to purcase that for $100.00 some years back.
Wanted to see GeorgiaBoy offer up a Bear recurve bow for it
