WOW!!!!!!!!! Almost $1200 for the 3-12x from bushnells website. Havent been able to find a dealer with these listed, and what they sell them for. If it is anywhere close to that I am gonna have to pass on these.

SWFA has them for $849.

Link: SWFA Bushnell 3-12x44mm FFP MIl/MIL

Bear Basin lists them for $749.95

They are out there and they are FFP Mil/MIL with illuminated reticle.

I have five FFP scopes. Four are 1.5-6x42s which are about as perfect as is possible for Minnesota deer hunting. One is a Nikon Monarch Gold 2.5-10 That I think I bought from a member here. For Target work and varmints I prefer the Zeiss 4.5-14x44. I am still undecided about the Nikon. It's very bright and clear. It seems more "contrasty" than the Zeiss and the color resolution is not as good IMO. The depth of field seems less but it might be a combination of the color resolution and the contrast differences, I can't be sure.

Miles,
When did nikon make a foray into FFP reticles? I did not think they offered anything. How do you like a FFP on the 1.5x6? What type of reticle are you running? Seem like any kind of mildot would be to small to be used at the lower magnifications. I know on my SS 3x9 the mils are still useable but it becomes more user friendly at about 5-6x.

Some of the Nikon's have very little verticle adjustment. One I looked at only had 20MOA of adjustment.

Carefully check the specs on each one...................DJ
