OP dapenko Campfire Greenhorn D Joined: Feb 2010 Posts: 58	Winchester Model 70 Mannlicher .308! 19" barrel. These were produced in 68-71 and as far as I can tell this one is around 1970. There were only 242+ of the .308 ever made (out of a total production of 2,401) and only 108 known to have stayed in the US! This is the RAREST MODEL 70 EVER PRODUCED! The rifle blueing is excellent and has some nicks on the stock. The bore is excellent and I'm open to trades/partial trades + Cash. I'm in DFW but will ship for an extra $40 to an FFL. Thanks. Looking mainly for another Mannlicher stocked rifle like a Steyr/Schoenauer, Valmet Model 71, 76. or 78 or...? $1500 cash or TRADE Last edited by dapenko; 11/24/10.

Super Grade Featherweights in, I believe all calibers. 375 H&H with a standard barrel. The list could go on for a long time as Winchester made a lot of goofy and rare guns in their time. Please don't take this as a slam against your rifle as they are indeed quite rare. I remember a couple years ago a guy on one of the auction sites selling an entire collection of M70 Mannlichers. This guy had like 50 of them! HE also had spare stocks, barrels, etc. Sometimes it's weird how people hoard stuff!
