I have an extra 700 with 308 bolt face and LTR take off. Want to build a 16-18" 308 that will be wearing a can. The rifle will be use for stand hunting for deer and hogs. Most shots will be less than 100 yards. I'm thinking about running 220 RN bullets at sub velocities for the most part but want to have the option of shooting full up 185 Bergs or 190 SMKs too.

Will 1-10 handle the 220 subs?

My Winchester m70 in .308 Win. has a 1 in 12" twist and shoots the 220 gr. Sierra RN's just fine. I use W-760 but data for a bullet that heavy is a tad scarce.
This is from an earlier version of Loadbooks (One book/one caliber)
Powder is W760 and bullet is the 220 gr. Sierra RN. Dunno what a 220 gr. Hornady would do as I have not tried it yet.
Start: 42.0 gr. for 2177 FPS at 42,000 C.U.P.
Max: 44.0 gr.for 2295 FPS at 46,900 C.U.P.
Groups ran from .375" to .50" from my rifle. My veocity at the 44.0 gr. load was 2310 FPS and absolutely no signs of pressure.
I looked though that Loadbook or the powder that would give the highest velocity for that weight bullets and W760 was it. Nothing else came close. Velocity from an 18.5" barreled Ruger M77 RSI was 2250 FPS. Accuracy was not so good from that rifle but I've only found one load that was decent in that gun. It's a one trick pony.
One of these days I'll get around to trying the Hornady 220 gr. RNs in the M70.

Stick in my experience a ten will not stabilize a 220 sub sonic. I tried it with a whisper. 220 s subsonic need a little tighter twist imo. For super sonic a ten works fine. I am at 208 above sea level maybe that is why I could not get sub 220s to work and just jumped to an 8. Now I could them hit a Target but the holes were not always round.
