I am looking for a Tikka T3 Varmint Stainless in 7mm Mag or 30-06. This Item is listed on their Website. I contacted my FFL and he says he is getting nowhere, he even called Berrita and was put on hold. Does anyone outthere Know of a Dealer or Distributer that could help?
Thanks
Louie

I was under the impression they stopped importing them. I could be wrong. Maybe Bob--aka--tikkanut, knows a little more about it. Might try pm-ing him.

Beretta is the Importer and sole US distributor, and they will not bring in the Varmint Stainless. Nor will they bring in Tikka Blued Varmints in 260 Rem, 7mm-08, or 6.5x55.

There is no dealer that can help you if it is not imported from Finland by Beretta.....But if anybody could it would Alex @ Euro Optics.

He is currently negotiating the buy of Sako TRG22's in 260 Rem.

Sports authority or Scheels imported some varmint models a year or so ago.

I also have a 204 varmint that I had scheels send to my ffl, it was quite a chore to find this gun as they are very very rare in the US.

forget about being able to get a tikka in anything other than standard calibers in the lite model and 223-22-250 and 308 in the varmint models, unless you buy it out of canada, FORGET ABOUT, don't try to call anyone at beretta because they suck, just accept the fact that whomever runs beretta USA's customer service does not want anyone to bother then they are out playing golf or something. heck I couldn't even find anyone to send an email to. beretta does nothing to promote tikka, they are not interested in offering new calibers that people will actually buy, case in point 338 federal, a big WTF is what I have to say about that, and I was right it was a total flop, the 204 would have been a way bigger seller but they don't offer it. the only good about the whole deal is the tikka rifle itself and the accuracy. besides that, everything else sucks. I even think the A7 is a joke, they should have just promoted the tikka line with more options. but in their eyes why not sell a rifle that has a few more bells and whistles but IMO isn't as good a design for $300 bucks more.

if I owned beretta, everyone at beretta usa would loose their job tomorrow, operations would be shut down until the entire USA operations were revamped.

You can still get varmint caliber stuff, ie 204 and 223 but the heavies are almost impossible to get even though they are readily available in Canada (or were when I looked two years ago).
