With the key Looking to trade or use as a down on a S & W Mod 41 Just look on GunBroker for the same gun. Go through them and look at all the ones that have actual bids on them. That should give you a pretty good idea. I almost always check there before I estimate a price for somebody. I won't estimate a price unless I've got a figure in my head already, but I like to check with GunBroker anyway since things change so fast nowadays. Run-of-the-mill 939 in excellent condition...I'm thinking $400 without looking at GunBroker.

Local pawn shop had one a month ago NIB for $275.

Around here (SE Pennsylvania), I'd expect to pick one up for $225-250, less if it was worn or out of time. They aren't very popular and are hard to sell once you own one.
