I've converted small engines to propane. Sell the plans to do it with pictures and everything.

My solution was to go to Harbor Freight and buy a new horizontal shaft 6.5 hp engine. Got mine on sale for for less then $100, spent $20 for a warranty and don't worry about it......made in china...but what isn't these days?

This needs to hang near the top for another cycle.

THANK YOU for the GREAT lead in, to this relatively simple and "Never Sweat" solution to these goddam fuel / carb problems on our small engines, Seor !

No problem! Glad that you enjoyed it. I had a lot of trouble putting it together because there are lots of "Do it yourself" websites and Youtube videos, but most of them are incomplete, wrong, or even dangerous.

The way I did it, makes them run almost exactly like a gas engine, only without ever having to mess with gas.

Prime, pull, start. Easy as pie. And when it's time to stow it away for winter in the basement of my townhouse (next to the pilot lights for the furnace and water heater) NO gas fumes to worry about, just unscrew the bottle.

Thanks to all who purchased the propane mower plans. Received payment from 2 of 3 who were interested. Hopefully you find them useful and instructional.

I was under the impression that a Troy had a lifetime guarantee. If that is the case, let them replace the motor. Isn't that one of the big reasons to buy a Troy?
