Does anyone know if a Winchester Model 88 safety is reversible for left handed shooters? Thanks...Bill.

Yes it is. I had mine done, but to be honest I can't remember if I simply reversed the button or bought a LH safety button.

My gunsmith buddy reversed mine in less time than it took me to type this. He used a punch to keep all the springs in place.

Just turn it pull it out and replace it on the Left Side. This also works for the Model 100 Semi Auto

Just be carefull , there is a small pin in the bottom of the hole the saftey slides thru. On my pre 64 88 it is only held in by gravity and is fussy to put back in ( after finding it  ) if it falls out. ETA : That pin is spring loaded so you may need to use something to push it down with to get the saftey slider back in.
