Due to a recent purchase I am going to have to sell one of my guns to get back right-side up. Up for sale is a good condition Beretta Silver Snipe 20 gauge O/U shotgun.
This Silver Snipe has 28" barrels and a Poly-Choke vent rib. It is a fixed choke shotgun with extractors, not ejectors. When I bought it, it was factory choked Full and Mod. Since I hunted quail primarily with it, I had Mike Orlen open the fixed chokes to Skeet 1 and Skeet 2. Mike also lengthened the forcing cones from 0.5" to 2.5".
The Silver Snipe is an older shotgun (1960's) that is very light and trim. I can send pictures if you want to send me an email address. I don't know how to post the pictures here.
I have about $850 in this shotgun and the smith work. I really need to get $750 + shipping for it.
Thanks, Mark in GA

The Silver Snipe is an older shotgun (1960's) that is very light and trim. I have one as well. As noted, it's a dream to carry, and one of my favorite hunting guns. If I had the spare change, I'd be thinking hard about getting this one. SK/SK would be perfect for grouse in the thick woods!

Just to be clear the chokes on this one are Skeet 1 (between CYL and IC) and Skeet 2 (between IC and MOD).

Even mo' betta for all-around upland type hunting!
Mine is I/C and Mod. A touch more open, as yours is, would be perfect.

We only have Bobwhites here, so I'm not very familiar with the other species other than I have heard they exist. :-)
All PM's replied too.
