Guessing it's the E bullet. No. The also offer a black coated E Tip (pretty sexy). The Power Core is different.

Nope, it's a totally different, Winchester-designed bullet. I've used it a few times and was very impressed with its on-game performance.

The gell test was impressive to me..what looks like rapid expansion with no plastic tip. Maybe the "softening of the tip" with special heat treating and the little bulge mid-way in the cavity works?

Watched it go 14" into 20% gelatin at SHOT... but Rick Bin mangaed to get the bullet from them and it was "interesting" to us... There was a little indication the bullet "slipped" a little sideways and there was a little metal that filled between two adjacent petal pairs... either a symptom of or cause for the bullet slippage.
The bullet "looks" softer than a TSX as the petals were not nearly as discrete and the central ridges, as in the TSX, were completely flattened... But it looks like a reasonable start on a very good bullet...
Mark Begich, Joaquin Jackson, and Heller resistance... Three huge reasons to worry about the NRA.

Yep. I got the bullet. Looked like wider expansion and less penetration than a comparable X bullet. But this was a sample of exactly one, so ... I'm glad to see that monolithics can be designed to do things other than "over-penetrate" ( ). Take it from a California boy, lead anything is looking like it's a goner. Not if, but when ... These will make nice deer bullets, if what I see is any indication. And yes, I'd like to see them in component form as well. rb
