Some pics. Stock is not quite as shiny or rough as a couple of these show. The closeups do a better job of showing actual finish. They also show the metal finish a lot better - it's a very smooth matte, not at all like the rough finish on the SPS models.

Playing around with macro setting on the brand new digital camera before shooting and after the fact discovered I had set format to medium for postcards instead of high for fine quality images. Oh well, you get the picture...






Scratches on tip - these are the only flaws in the stock.

I tried to show that little line of bedding just in front of the receiver but either shaded or full sunlight it won't show up.
