I live 6 miles from Destin. There is no good hog hunting in this area.

I've come close to shooting some bores on the beach in Destin....oh, you said boars.....never mind.

The Apalachicola NF has over 500,000 acres to hunt pigs on. I've killed them next to the Sopchoppy river.

Try www.southernairboats.comIf anyone knows where pigs are in an area, if any, those crackers will.

Eglin AFB is a stones throw from Destin, and they have hogs. Just stop by the Jackson Guard gate, and they will handle all permits, maps etc, otherwise, it's a lot like Texas....private land and pay to hunt.

Eglin AFB is by far your best bet. I lived in Defuniak Springs a number of years ago, and a couple of us bowhunted there on a regular basis.

Hunting season is over on all WMA's and eglin air base. You can NOT shoot a hog w/a turkey hunting license either.
Look online for places [outfitters] in Georgia -i have never heard of anyone guiding hunters for hogs around here. There are some guys who night hunt them around columbus ,ga. might try to find them.
