Now I understand what "ruger ring" means and I see it constantly returns to zero and starts over again, and again, and again ... grin

Me personally, the ones with scopes on I tend to leave 'em
on, but if you do that I think Warne makes quick detach
for the No.1 with levers instead of screws. Just thought you
might like.

Beautiful collection sir. Are you comfortable with the high rings on 7 Mag? Did the rib and scope objective require you to go that route?

Actually, that scope and rings are no longer on that rifle. It currrently has a set of medium Ruger rings and a Luepold VX II 3-9x40 scope. And thanks for the compliment. I have a few more not pictured.......may post them later.

Here is mine. it is a 7x57 and the stocks were a set of custom that a buddy replaced so he let me have them. I had to do some fitting, bedding, and completely refinish but they were well worth it. Now I need to get around to having them checkered.

Any .416 Rigbys out there? I've always wanted one and my wife was at the gunshop to order me a Tropical for Christmas several years ago when she learned that it was over $100 for a box of shells. She came home with an 1895M instead. I was still happy, but now I still need to get my Rigby someday. wink

M1Tanker- that's pretty nice!

There is no accounting for taste.

Experience is a great thing as long as one survives it.

Generally, there ain't a lot that separates the two however,
Barely making it is a whole lot more satisfying than barely not making it.

Mr. Saw, there is a Ruger #1 on ACCURATE RELOADING web site in .416 Rigby, I tried trading for my Browning Belgium A-5 shotgun, but he isn't interested in trades. He wants $800 w/two boxes of ammo.

Yes, a Schmidt and Bender Mil Dot reticule. 4-16x50 with parallax adjustment.

Fore end is stock.
