Hey, its my first post that I can recall on a long time in the single shot forums.

I honestly answered your rant much like my rant. Exbiologist asked a question.

Earlier I simply stated I would not be buying any new #1s since I have this issue.

Until I was asked a question, I didn't rant.

I am not continuing to rant here.

BTW I havent' looked back any, got any great pics of your #1s?

I haven't had mine out of the safe in a few years. Of course it doesn't have great wood either.

Actually, you began your participation in this thread by asking ENU where he was located. Then you chose to follow up that response with this:

No one asked you for that -- NO ONE -- you volunteered that little dickhead bit of "wisdom."

Allow me to repeat yet ANOTHER question I have posed to you: does that mean your DUMB, SH*T-KICKING ASS WILL FINALLY LEAVE?

What would be the point of posting any of those for your benefit? You certainly have no appreciation of any Ruger product and I am not going to waste a second of my precious time showing you my modest collection of Rugers. Particularly when you already stated this:

You can't differentiate between the sight of a ruger bringing back a bad memory? And the ability to appreciate the firearm at the same time?

All your rambling on this and my initial post had the 18 words in it. Out of more than that in the complete post.

ENU, on another note, and I have spoken, and come to find out its a small world. Didn't hear a bad word from him.

What would I get out of seeing any of your #1s? Even though they remind me of Bill, I sure appreciate seeing a nice #1, especially with nice wood.

If you had the ability to read past a bit in the initial post, I simply commented that I like blue and wood ones but never could quite bring my self to appreciate the SS/laminated ones for some reason. That doesn't sound like a rant, but some comments on what I like about 1s and what I don't.

Let me get to the point here, my apologies to you if you were offended by a few words. Or were offended by my answering a question or taking the thread OT to ask which cowhouse creek as there certainly is more than one in our state. For those I stand guilty as charged.

Beyond that, I'd suggest you learn to activate the ignore feature if I irritate you with posts. They won't all deal with Bill, but some will.

And they won't all be in the single shot forum as I have FAR more than just one or two interests in firearms....

BTW if you love Jim Zumbo, I'd suggest trying not to read any threads that deal with that idiot, more than likely I'll be commenting there to.

I happen to prefer to keep my 2nd Amendment Rights and tend not to forget. Comes easy when born in Texas when the first thing they teach ya... Remember the Alamo....

Your dumb ass doesn't get it, do you?

Allow me to ask AGAIN -- WHAT IS THE POINT OF YOUR CONTINUED ANTI-RUGER RANTS? WHAT IS IT YOU'RE HOPING TO ACCOMPLISH?

I've read your ignorant drivel in the past. And the very best thing I can say about you is you post IGNORANT DRIVEL. And anytime -- and I mean ANYTIME -- the subject of Ruger firearms is broached, you decide to stink up the room with a lot of small-minded HATE that seems to serve no other purpose than to stroke your fragile little ego.

You want to make a point regarding the ability to appreciate a firearm and differentiating between that and bringing up a "bad memory." It seems it's YOU, LITTLE MAN, who has the issue with controlling your emotions and remaining on topic. I don't think it's possible for you to behave like a sane, stable ADULT and objectively discuss ANYTHING without subjecting the other discussion participants to your insane and petty hates and dislikes. Is there ANY particular reason you couldn't have just discussed the various technical merits of the No. 1 or the appreciation of No. 1 aesthetics without launching into some horseshit rant of a perceived slight by a dead man?

Then you want to bring up this bullshit about being "born in Texas." I guess I shouldn't expect much from a state that's produced such luminaries as Anna Nicole Smith and Sheila Jackson-Lee -- who, I might add, has been such a "supporter" of Second Amendment rights -- but I didn't expect, nor should I be compelled to tolerate repeated rantings from the Texas chapter of the Flat Earth Society's president.

I think you and Jim Zumbo have a hell of a lot more in common than you're willing to admit. You both think you're one of the three smartest people you know. The problem is, you're both morons, but you haven't realized it yet.

Hey BT, wonder if Rost sold all his S&Ws when they were bought by an English company that wanted to cooperate with Clinton's anti-gun agenda ?

Or his Winchesters when they closed the factory ?

Or his Marlins when they moved ?

Or his TCs when they moved/consolidated ?

Ooops forgot, when all you own are Mossbergs and Wally World Stevens, quality guns are a moot point.

Probably still watching a Philco B&W 12" TV too.

Where do they come from ?

Don't give him attention - that's what he wants! So he won't buy Rugers. So what? That just leaves more for us!

Hey Bricktop

I keep answering your posts. Those are the ones that are long and drawn out and using foul language.

I've apologized. But seems to me you'd get it by now, if you keep after it, I"ll simply continue to answer your posts.

Pretty easy way to shut it down.

I believe you must have a lot in common with Maser.

Jeff

From your last reply, I believe that I would remove any reference to the word adult if you are typing a reply. You are certainly very far removed from that.

Good afternoon Jawn

Matter of fact, I have not purchased a smith since that happened. Though, like ruger, its all water under the bridge.

You will have to forgive my ignorance, I have no clue why I'd sell Winchesters because they closed, the logic in that statement or a few below makes no difference.

Answer same to Marlins

Answer same to TCs

As to count of Mossbergs I do have a 590 by the bed, no stevens.

TV wise we've been very happy with the flat screen Sony TVs and HD from DirectTV. Though find that if you buy a wally world Sony of the same model basically, you will find a minor difference in the model number that amounts to some fairly major dollar difference in change, but also, as can be typical of WalMart, nets you a lower quality product. In this case lower quality TV.

Is that so? This little piece of "brilliance" would suggest it's anything but water under the bridge with your dumb ass:

BT,
True, they can get on your nerves, but stupid people will always be that way. Stupid is FOREVER! I enjoy the genius of Mr. Ruger every time I go to the range, and most of my hunting time in the field. Some aren't worthy of enjoying it, and that's what you're dealing with here. Now, on with the #1 PORN!!! PLEASE!!!

Here you go:

From the top there is an RSI 7x57mm, a 1B .257 Roberts, a 1V .22-250, and a 1V .220 Swift.

And more:

Upper rifle is a 1A in 7x57mm, lower rifle is a 1A in .270 WCF traded to me by lubbockdave about four years ago.

And the wood on the .220 Swift:
