65BR I just had to unload some Remingtons to pay for a like new Sako A1 in 223...

The only real downside to owning Sako's is once you shoot them you don't want to shoot/own anything else. I am always looking at Sako's and trying to think what can I sell to pay for that so the wife does not kill me...

I own a Stainless 85 in 338 Federal. Shoots great and it's already been bloodied. Balances and carries perfect. Based on my experience thus far, I'd for sure buy another 85.

By far the best out of the box rifle I have owned. The action and trigger are ridiculous....

Dink, my buddy wanted to unload his A1 in 222, nice wood in exc. condition for about $475....it was so good to be true I was scared to buy it....now I realized.......too late - that I probably 'needed it'

Sold a few in my day.... easily regret those more than others.

If I were not in the midst of a project or two, Sako would be where I'd be looking.

Thanks alot guys..I have been watching this thread for a few days and lo and behold...I will soon be the owner of my first Sako ..A finnlight in 30/06....

65BR the next time you don't need a Sako for $475 please let me know. I will give it a good home...grin.

I've had and currently still own quite a few Sako rifles in various flavors and all I can say is, see for yourself the Sako quality and accuracy....you wont look back. I've sold off most of my rifle collection except for a select few remmy's, a T/C Hawken and yes, my Sako's (75s - 85s). IMHO, best out of the box production rifle made. Yeah, they�re expensive, Optilock scope mounting system is expensive, but, you get what you pay for. AND, no out of the box accuracy issues or worries like another rifle I�ve �owned� (past tense).
