I was wanting an 84M in 260 but couldn't locate one. Finally gave up and decided to buy a new Kimber.
Kimber might have kept the 260 in the stable if they went 1:8 twist, and the 130 NABs at 2800ish was a factory offering (you can get 100 grain BTs from Federal.) The 140 green box Remmy ammo has yet to shoot under MOA in ANY 260 I've ever owned, including cut rifled barrels from top shelf makers. Accuracy with that load in the Kimbers was straight up piss poor, and they knew it. You ain't going to educate the masses, so they dropped it.
