I have shot a 52" AK Moose and a full curl Dall Ram with my Model 88 .284 150 NP around 2700 FPS both 1 shot kills.
The guy I bought it from had shot many moose with factory
ammo.

I hardly think I got bad bullets out of 3 different calibers and 3 different velocity ranges <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> I bought them at Sportsmans' Warehouse, not Betty Boops lingerie shop <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> Oh well, there are better bullets than the partitions....thank heavens <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I load 160 grain Partions for my hunting partners 284 (custom 721, or722? whichever is the long action) 24 inch stainless shilen barrell and laminated stock. loaded to 2750 to 2800 fps this has been a very good moose load giving good penetration and solid kills on a number of animals
