Bought one last winter from a friend. Came with a Tasco scope that was ok but wanted something a little nicer on it.

Forgot I had an old probably 70s vintage Weaver K12 that has the double range finding crosshairs 6 moa apart.

With Aguila Subsonic the gun can be fired indoors without hearing protection...quieter than some airguns... Accuracy at 50 yards was thumbnail size...

Was shooting at 100 yards last week with Walmart Remington bulk ammo. Shot two 5 shot groups and it was fairly windy. The forth shot of the first group was a bad round and went low. Moved the scope POA over a few clicks and fired one round...too far left...came back an inch and fired four more...

What is nice about the scope is that one sights in the bottom crosshair in at 100 yards and the center one is just about on the money at 50....

These CZs are some of the best .22s I have ever had....

That's a nice looking rifle. What's the barrel length?

I have one:

This target was from its first outing back in 09. I later took the scope off and prefer shooting it with the open sights.

I have one, too. Mine shoots best with SK Standard Plus. The best money I've spent on it was installing an adjustable sear.

A few months ago, I was asking some close friends what they think I should get for MY .22 since I have passed my other rifles on to my kids. I told them I wanted a repeater, it had to be a classic, and it had to be truly great. I was thinking along the lines of something pre-WWII made by Remington, Winchester, Savage, etc. I was also thinking probably a pump action also. One of my buds pops off with the CZ Ultra Lux, and suddenly Im scratching my headHey, they ARE making classics today.

The CZ Ultra Lux is a FANTASTIC rifle and a modern day classic. You have good taste in rimfires my friend.

Bob, I got the DIP sear: http://www.diproductsinc.com/Detail.aspx?PROD=156624&CAT=3600

Several online retailers carry them or you can order directly - same price either way.

Hint: Remove the magazine well before you fiddle with things and that little ball will be much easier to capture and reinstall.

I have one and It's by far the most accurate .22 I ever owned. I use it to snipe vermin on my 4 acre property and with cci 40gr subsonic segmented hp's I fired a 3 shot 1/4in group at 50yds. Shot a rabbit the other day at a lazered 68yds and he flopped over at the shot and never even twitched, hit him behind the shoulder and had no exit wound and it's quieter than a pellet gun.

Really on the, "quieter than a pellet gun"

"With Aguila Subsonic the gun can be fired indoors without hearing protection.." Is this with any subsonic ammo?

Been thinking about going through the process of getting a suppressor... but this might be the way to go???
