What is a NIB Sako Finnfire worth these days?

Depends on the model, wood stock etc. A NIB Finnfire (not Quad) will run about $1100 and up a bit for specific models.

Was looking for a Quad 22lr mag. when I came across this beauty, $1075 with 5 days left.

Good gawd!!! no way am I paying that for a Finnfire, the last one I bought NIB was also around 2005 for $649.00 if I remember correctly, this guy is makin a killing on this rifle! it does look like it has a decent piece of wood but not for $1,000.00 + bucks...I hope the winner enjoys his new rifle cause he's paying astro dollars for it, personally I don't see it, I have owned several Finnfires over the years and they are good little rifles but not that dang good............Hillbilly.

Nice wood on the Finnfire, but I agree with VaHillbilly, that's a lot of money. You're getting into the Cooper, Anschutz and Weatherby XXII range when you top a grand.

I wouldn't want to bet on the Finnfire outshooting these off a bench. Although a nice, accurate rifle, I don't think it's in the class with the listed. For a grand(+), I'd be moving to the next level...

My Finnfire outshoots my 40X, my 541S, and every other rimfire I own. Only limitation is the shooter and ammo. They were very popular in the BR game for a while.

congrats! it sounds like you got a great shooter, the two I had were accurate but not outstandingly so, I realize though that when you buy a new rifle it's kind of a "Pig in a poke" deal, in any given model you may find an exceptional shooter, I had a couple Sako quad's, one of these may have been the most accurate rimfire I ever owned I also recall a winchester Mod 52B I bought back in the mid 90's that was extremely accurate, but I bought another 52B a few years later that only shot good not great, one more rimfire rifle comes to mind I had that was extremely accurate was an Anschutz Mod 1416 heavy barrel, it was wonderfully accurate and not picky either, these great shooters all went down the road for one reason or another (mostly boredom) and now I only own a few fair shooters, nothing to brag about, hopefully the next great shooter I buy I will keep it for a long time, but that would be a first......Grin...................Hillbilly.

I hear you... I have a Finnfire Range (heavy barrel 94s with an adjustable stock)... honestly it is so accurate there is no need to shoot it at anything but 100 yards or more... at 50 yards it is nothing but 1 hole.

We take it to the range occasionally and shoot flys with it at 100 yards... (When we get there, we spread some peanut butter and jelly on a target at 100 yards.... then we go about shootin all of our other guns... when we are done normally the flies have shown up at the target... then we have fun... )

Damn! I hope the guy enjoys it, he sure paid enough. I wish I'd bought about a dozen at $595.00 several years back, I could have made a killing.............Hillbilly.

No chit! I picked up a NIB Finnfire Hunter w/ the cheekpiece style stock for $650, if memory serves, about 6 months ago or so. From the local dealer, which makes it REALLY unusual!

Wanted a bolt action rimfire, so I bought a Quad here off the board. They are running $600 and up depending on the barrel or barrel set. Got it ready to go finally, in 17HMR and a Lilja 22LR barrel. Wondering if it will out shoot my old BSA Martini model 12. Finnfires are a bit of proven cult 22, and the price reflects that.

I have an inexpensive Weaver 2x7 on my Quad. I don't know how accurate it is compared to others, but it is my always handy rifle loaded with CCI Velocitors. I like it a whole lot and it looks better scratched up.
