ahhh...guess I'll have to bring my PAST glove then...

I am leaning toward bringing my .45-70 #1, depending on how well it shoots this weekend. It would be a good place to unload warmish .45-70's...

I'll probably a black rifle of some sort, too. Either the AR10T or the 15T.

Maybe a foreign car with middle eastern occupants? AlQaida?

well Mark it would be a pleasure to meet you - if you can make it, and bring the Rigby, I'll chip in a box of factory ammo for it smile

Would be fun to compare those to a 400gr 416 Cal Monolithic solid round, maybe into a large tree trunk (DEAD tree, of course).

If I do, and you did, it would be the first factory ammo ever fired through that rifle. I am not sure it will know what to DO with one of those!

You do know, that doing so is likely going to run you about $200.00 +/-....

No real need, though the offer is appreciated. I have about 200 rounds of Norma cases and still have a pretty good supply of bullets to load. Probably have 50 or so loaded with 350gr TSX's at 2750 that I want (others!)to shoot up so I can re load them with the new TIPPED 350gr Triple Shocks.

I am supposing that 2,000+lb Eland and Moose and Cape buffalo are in kinds short supply down there of late so we will have to improvise.

smile sounds good. I am hoping to to see the Ruger do 300's at 2300 fps, which will be plenty for a 8.5lb rifle smile

OK, TIME TO GET THIS TIGHTENED UP A BIT.

To help with planing and prep for the gathering, we need to ID the participants. So, if you expect to be with us for any of the weekend of July 13-15, please send me a PM to note that. As possible, please try to ID your arrival date/time in case we need some front-end help.

If you are trying to make it and are still a "maybe" just let us know that for the "tentative" list - and we will keep you in the info loop as well.

From here forward, we will communicate specifics and personal details through PMs. Be looking for some big group PMs along the way.

Alright - let's hear it..
