I was wondering when you'd start showing off your collection. Hey the redfield one piece mount and rings are working great on my fwt. Thanks again my friend.

Scrolling down looking at rifle porn and I see 7x57, without even looking I knew who it had to be...... and I'm impressed. That is one very nice rifle.

I think I should avoid this thread and this forum, all these winnies are making me jealous.

Beautiful rifles, all !!!

My pair of 70's don't add up to 1/2 of a collector's rifle. Only one I have a picture on the 'puter of is a Classic Stainless 7-STW. The other's a '84 or '85 XTR Sporter .300 Winnie.

She successfully hunts and hunted: european wild boar, red does, roe deers (bucks, does and little yearlings too), foxes, feral cat, kudu, oryx, wildebeest, hartebeests, zebra and warthog. You can hunt anyhting you want with such a rifle.

You guys are making me jealous!

My oldest, an NH .300 Winchester Mag Classic Stainless, in a Supergrade McSwirley:

Strangely, no pics of my others, a Coyote in 7 WSM and an Extreme Weather in .300 WSM. If I could just break my addiction to cheap 700 project rifles, I could get a few more M70s. I'm looking for a Sporter in .264 currently.

Very nice rifle. Looks like a late model pre 64 (guessing 1962) fwt. Very nice.... What cartridge is it chambered for???

I will post some others later but here is my pre-64, mfg 1961 model 70 fwt in .270 Winchester.

This rifle belonged to my cousin who was a D1 athlete, Vietnam war hero, and just plain great guy. He passed away a week before a pronghorn we were planning back in the mid 80's. My uncle knew I always admired the rifle and gave it to me a couple of years ago. He was a WWII vet himself and just passed away last year.

from a collectors point of view I committed a no no because I did refinish the rifle. It was in no great shape and had some things not quite correct about it but she is back to the condition she deserves to be in now.

This is my 270WSM fwt I bought in the first year of production. I replaced the plastic grip cap with a steel super grade cap, and trigger guard assy with a steel guard. Just seemed right to do and the added weight I couldn't even tell. I have shot many a whitetail and proghorns with this rifle. Topped with a Zeiss Conquest 4X16 I think.

This is my 300WSM in a Bell & Carlson Medalist stock with Freedom Tan patter. The rifle is topped with a Nikon Monarch in 4X16 I think. I added a target turret for elevation and had a Kenton Industries dial made for my load.
I have taken mule deer, whitetail, elk, and bear with this rifle.
