Dave

Did you make the stands yourself or did you purchase them? What are you setting them on?

Just returned from a grocery shopping expedition for camp. Thank god for Aldi's they sure help keep the expenses down.

Rainy here today and no Packers to watch (Bye week). Think I'll catch up on my reading.

Thes pictures show mostly me but I had help and I couldn't have done it without my help. Pam, runs with scissors and little plays with matches were excellent helpers. Thanks guys I wouldn't have a nice enclosed stand up in time for season without your help!!

Yeah, we used what we had.

big thing was to get that OSB sealed up tight, make it last a while.

We painted all this stuff ahead of time. I can go out now with spray cans and try to match it up to the cedars if I get a chance, not this year though, too close to opener for paint.

The .45 looks ready incase of flying bears, leapord squirrels, or swamp squids.

Is that by the blind we built in the cedars...by the clear cut?

No it's on our property, same area we set up the ladder you donated to camp.

And it's looking like high traffic, grass all stamped down, lookin good.

No sign of rut though, nothing.

I didn't look close enough. I saw that grip and thought it was the Vaquero.

I still can't remember if I was ever in that spot or not. I think we tried to get in there and got the wheeler stuck and tried a different plan.

I didn't notice any rut signs last weekend except a couple rubs that were 100 feet apart.

I dreamed it was snowing last night. Must be a good sign?

It really could snow any time now.

It hasn't been cold enough during the day to keep the snow around but it will be cool enough soon.

wow that thing is bitchin! we don't get much for snow down here for something like that.

I saw Mr. Big last night in a new stand. 60 yards away, and wow he made my jaw drop. hopefully I'll have pics of him weds. still plenty of time if anyone wants to archery hunt this fall.

Mama wanted a van & I'm a sucker for anything with tracks so this should be a win/win for the whole team.
