http://www.knightrifles.com/scope-bases-and-rings/I would strongly suggest the 2 piece base. It can be a pain getting a 209 primer in and out, so you need as much room as possible. I think a one piece base would make capping and decapping even more difficult. Do not loose the angled capping tool, a straight one makes the process even more difficult. Other that the capping problem they are a great rifle, mine has been great for the past 10 years. Plus take the scope off, screw in the musket cap nipple and with the right loads you are legal for Idaho.
