I have 6 contender frames for sale. All except #6 are near excellent, no rust or damage. #6 has had most of the finish stripped off for some reason. Not rusty or pitted, but poor finish. Ideal for a duracoat project! Priced as marked. $8 shipped, insured to your FFL from and individual. $20 more if your ffl wants shipped through dealer.

Are any or all of them easy open? Also I am thinking of having another frame bead blasted and matte finished to match a barrel I already have. Would #6 be a good candidate for such a finish? Do you think this process would correct the problem?

Doug, the one with the poor finish would be exactly right for what you are planning, bead blast and refinish would make it like new. No problems with it that I can see other than someone put something on the finish that took it off. It, and the others are not easy open, they are the earlier type.
