Any one ever load the 4895 for the 204? If so let me know and if you liked it or not.

H4895 is all I use in both of my .204's. Found 3 different accurate loads with 35 & 40 gr. berger bullets and another with the 39 gr. BK's.

28gr. of H4895 behind a 35gr. Berger with Rem. 7 1/2 primer is another good way to go.

This my favorite powder in the 204 and 20 Practical with the Sierra 39 gr BK
A Doe walks out of the woods today and says, that is the last time I'm going to do that for Two Bucks.

Mygirlhunts: Five of my six Varmint Rifles in caliber 204 Ruger are shooting loads made with H 4895. The sixth prefers Varget. The accuracy in those five Varminters using H 4895 is just exceptional. The sixth Varminter of mine using the Varget powder had H 4895 powder coming in second for accuracy - and that difference was just .05" average for a few five shot groups using each. If you are looking for a good powder to attain accuracy with in the 204 Ruger then I recommend H 4895 as the best place to start. Best of luck to you. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy

I use 29 grains H4895 and 32 grain Nosler BT's in mine. H322 was a close second.
