Who has tried both, what would you buy again? This is for a model 700 titanium 7 saum.

I have both and like both. For shorter barrel applications, I'd go Hunters Edge because of the shorter forearm. The 700 Ti is just screaming for the Mountain Rifle pattern as far as I'm concerned.

You can't go wrong either way. I believe the Mtn Rifle pattern is slimmer in the grip area and the Hunters Edge is a tad more robust there and more open in the grip. And cheekpiece for Mtn Rifle versus classic style for Hunters Edge.

Of the two I prefer the mountain rifle grip, but that's one man's opinion.

I'm ordering a Mountain Rifle stock as soon as I figure out a pattern.

I've got multiples of both...and slightly prefer the Edge/Compact. I like the more open grip, slimmer forearm (slightly), and no cheek piece. Pretty happy with either though....

Both are good, but I prefer the Mountain Rifle pattern.

Have had both, still have the Mountain Rifle. I prefer it between the two. Also found a 7mm SAUM Ti but the original stock is staying for at least awhile. I am growing fond of it. The rifle shoots, I like it!

I prefer the MR forend and the Compact grip.

I also like a cheekpiece.

KS is the closest pattern.
