I'd like to see some load data if anyone has some loads with the Barnes TSX bullets. I've got a Ruger No 1 I'd like to try with the TSX bullets.

Barnes does not make TSX .312/3 bullets so you're out of luck.
Woodleigh probably makes the best .312 bullets with their 174 gr softpoint.

The 303 British shoot's a .311" diameter bullet, every Barnes 150gr TSX I have seen was designed for a .308" bore, think you better try a different bullet IMO

Barnes makes a .311 150gr bullet. Look them up on their website.

Well then use 30-40 data as they are ballistic twins.

Just email the guys are Barnes, and they will give you data for the 150gr TSX in the .303 British. I have some load data, but it's not with me at the moment...

Ditto on the TSX being a bit much for the 303 Brit.

As for data in the Ruger #1, I'm knocking on the door to 308Win data after working things up and checking case head expansion...I think the reports of using 308 Win data is likely not to far from the truth.
I'm getting superb results with 150gr. Hornady's in mine, and if ya want to blow the hair back on your shooting buddies head, load up some 174gr. Matchkings.

YMMV

Barnes doesn't list data for my 7.62x54R or your 303 Brit. I had to work up from other sources.

I load these bullets in 7.62x54R and they're my go-to hunting load. They should work equally well in your 303.

I've got my 174gr RN and 150gr SPs for local work, wanting an African load to back up my 9.3X62.

All the 30-40 data is for the older rifles with 308 bullet. Not twins.

I've had good success to expandable bullets on plains games.I would not rule out an accurte 174 RN Hornady bullet load in the .303 British.Impala will run, don't matter what you shoot them with or where....?
I guess I'm just not a big Barnes X fan,but I do like their Solids

Overall, plains game are no harder to kill than our deer and elk, proper bullet placement is paramount....
