Any advice?

Thanks Bea, how in the heck do I get ahold of this thing w/o wrecking it? Tried taping the plyers and it just slips.

When I want to pull one I use a pin vise and a little heat. If it's in a solid rib be very judicious with the heat

Like this (Brownell's). The inside of the jaws are ground round to conform to the bead. And being Brownell's there's a video and instructions in a .pdf on the above link.
