I just called and the lady said that the lifetime member has to call. Has anyone else ran into this or is the person calling pretending to be the life member?

I would think you can sign up as many people as you would like under the same sponsor
As far as sponsoring someone as soon as you get signed up I think it may some time for the NRA to update their r3ecords just have them use the same sponsor
