I like it-a lot.

Also like the black pad.

But I'll have to wait for a LH.

Rick, is it possible to order the above stock for a pre 64 standard with a limbsaver installed ?

Thanks, Denny

Nothing about this stock on the McMillan website. Did they decide to offer the Winchester Hunter in a left hand model?

And while I was perusing, I noticed this about the Featherweight stock: " Now available with checkering only (picture coming soon)." (bold mine) That checkering has been out for many months now. I'm wondering how "soon" that picture is going to be updated?

I wish McMillan made a Left Hand Stock for a factory barrel CZ 527 Left Hand.

Jesse James, you may have the Remington Hunter stock. I have one and you are correct, the forearm is a bit wide and squarish. The sako hunter could be modified for a Rem 700. I have several of this and the forend is more narrow, and not squarish.

I want the lightest, yet ridgid stock possible for my Rem 700 SA in 7-08. I use this for antelope in very tough conditions. It's got to be bulletproof. I'd like a "classic" stock. Don't like the high combed stuff.

Any suggestions, Rick or Ryan?

I'm not Rick or Ryan but I'd suggest the McMillan Remington Classic in EDGE fill...

I think this is the first one:

Winchester Hunter in McWoody with a red 1-inch Decel. Inside is a factory M70 Supergrade in .300 Winchester.

Fit was impeccable.

34% dark brown, 33% light brown, 33% black.

McWoody.
