6.5 PCC UPPER???

I am interested in the 6.5 PCC upper...Where can I buy one and dies??? I have a Colt HBar and I think this would make a lot better hunting round. Can I use my bolt and charging handle? Thanks for the help. Robbie

Thats the same as the 6.5 grendel and 264 lbc basically... all in the same boat with minor variations FWIW.

Thats the same as the 6.5 grendel and 264 lbc basically... all in the same boat with minor variations FWIW. Nope 6.5PCC is made from a .223 case, just a barrel swap and you are GTG. Grendel is a 6PPC case with shoulder blown forward .075 and necked up to 6.5, or a 7.62x39 necked down with most of the taper blown out.

Same thing as a 6.5mm TC/U. Which is a fun round, too, FWIW.
There any difference in dimensions?

Yes the 6.5PCC is basically a 6.5TCU, that we tweaked a little to make it work with a 120gn Hot-cor out of a AR.
A touch more taper. A shorter neck, to prevent the case mouth from going past the ogive, when loaded to fit a AR mag.
If I remember correctly, a 6.5TCU standard OAL is 2.6", we had to make it work in 2.26".

Really, my understanding was the 6.5 Grendel was a ppc necked to 6.5, and then tweaked a hair past that. At least that was what I recall being touted in the development stages.
I"ll have to look all that up. Suprise to me.
