Just sold a two pc set from an '94 357...butt & forearm....

Brownell's has new forearms for $46...but they are checkered

They are cut different for different models. Give more info or you might buy what you don't need. Pretty sure the 357 is cut for smaller dia. bbl and tube than the 44mag. "old rifle" with octagon bbl?

yeah; they didn't have any. It's an old model 94, octagon barrel, case hardened reciever. Forearm is 81/2" from reciever to forend cap.[the part that shows].

Probably won't belive this. I have one. It's from a 1902 vintage Marlin 94 ,octagon barrel,very good condition, a little dark.
It is 8 &3/4 " long and 8 &3/8" inches of full stock between the cut outs for the nose piece and where it fits into the reciever.
I came upon an old 38-40 in poor condition and I have restocked it completely.

For comparison, this is mine.
