I have a Marlin Take Down I am looking to sell. I believe it is an 1894 model. Does anyone know the going price on these? I will post pics tonight.

This barrel is stamped 32 W
I am interested in selling this rifle. I will list it on Marlincollectors.com soon unless I get a fare offer.

Try marlinowners.com too but you ned 25 posts there to list an item for sale... Gunbroker with a comfortable reserve is can be a good option too...

Nice shootin iron, like to have something in my collection but am pretty tight on the coin .

Best wishes on a fair deal

Looks to me like a Model 1894 in .32-20. If it is post-1898, it will be stamped "Model 1894" or (later) "Model 94" on the tang. There is $100 or so premium for the "Antique" production rifles (pre-1898). "Good" condition for the "modern" rifles runs around $500-$600. I have seen no indication that the take-down feature either adds to or detracts from the value. As was suggested, you should post this in the Marlin owners website for the best info.

Nice rifle--a little nicer than my 1893 take-down in .25-35. Would be cool to pop a nice whitetail or mule deer with it before you send it down the road!

If it's got no splits, pits, rust and the bore is decent, then I would be interested. Send me a PM. (Also have a C & R License.)
