AH hell how bout another story!!! So me and Metal2meat got to go down and chase the grey ghost this season, I was the only one with the tag but THAT'S what a good hunting buddy does-ANY TAG ANY WHERE!!!!
[Linked Image]
The hunt started out slow due to a heavy snow and a full moon. I had pretty lofty goals for this hunt and were seeing some decent bucks but just could not find the right one. We stayed diligent but time was running out. Around day 7 we decided to check a hole that we had been seeing 3 bucks in and several does. The biggest buck was maybe a 90" 3x3 deer but I just could not do it. As soon as we got set up I found the 3 amigos. Not paying too much attention to them I started to glass else where. After finding a couple of does I decided to check the bachelors. Upon focusing my glass I noticed that the buck looked bigger, I figured it was just late-in -the-hunt anxiety until he turned his head and I saw the 4 point side-DIFFERENT BUCK!!! Time to get in KILL MODE!! We made down to 310 and got set up and put the 7 mag to work!!!!

He wasn't the 120" monster of my dreams but I could not be happier!!!!

four point side and blading!!!!
Heres the rifle 7 Rem mag #4 broughton, Hi-tech stock and 168 Bergers

I dont know what he got into but when we were skinning him out to pack we found turkey shot in his legs!!!(obligatory ingram shot!)

The next day I watched Jeff make a 525yd frontal shot(his longest) on this yappin SOB

As usual, hope yall enjoy!!

I guess the correct pronunciation is cows but alot of folks call them cooze. I use both depending on who I'm talking to! hahaha I don't think it really matters!

Good story and pics. Thanks. I wish the local paper would run a story about what turkey thought that deer was a turkey.

Good hunting guys! That is a dandy buck and his beams go on for days!

I looked far and wide for a 3x4 or 4x4 on my hunt and the closest I could find was a 3x3 with matching kickers off his G2's. Very sweet buck and nice shot!
