My rifle was not a custom build, but doesn't have many stock pieces any more. I just got her back from the smith.

Remington 700 BDL, chambered in .30-06
Bartlein #3 tube, 24 inches
Holland lug
McMillan Classic stock, standard fill, from Rick
Timney trigger set at 2.5 pounds
Talley lightweights, at least for now
Leupold VX-III, 3.5 - 10 x 40, until I acquire a 6 x 42 HD

I don't know the weight, but she's a young man's rifle. Lucky for me, I'm still young.

JBO69,
Is that a Model Seven clone action? Rock #3?

It is a Defiance sheep action which is basically a model 7 blueprint. The barrel is a "mountain" contour.

The link to Dana's site will give you more specific details. It definitely has a great feel and balance in the 260 rem...

Here is a pair of three shot groups (100 yds) from the initial load development. Just have to let it cool between shots with a light barrel.

I know JB069, I'm sure he used a pencil to simulate this.
