Tom and I met here and "hooked up" at a gun show in Smyrna. This has been a few years ago. We enjoyed the day getting to know each other and vowed to stay in touch but never did more than a couple of emails. Always too busy or one of us wasn't going to the gun show. Wish we'd tried harder. He was fun to be with.

The NW Guys will miss him in his posts he showed a love of the country where he was born and raised here in the Northwest as he kept abreast of his old stomping grounds here on the westside of state right up to the end. mayt the Good Lord take you and your family under his wing and protect you and his family in this time of sorrow.

Not an uncommon career path; military service followed by law enforcement. Usually the guys are real good guys. Family men. The kind of guy you'd like to have for a friend. Or to have your six in a tough spot.
