The serial would make it a Savage 23A.

Nothing for the 23b/c but the difference between the b and c bolt are pretty minimal on the face. Gunparts had some bolt bodies for awhile.

I would LOVE to be able to use this 22 but I am stumped.

Hi I'm looking for front sights for both 23D 22 hornet and 23B 25-20. Would you have these for sale? With barrels or without? Thx.

I saw your old postings for 23 parts. I just picked up a nice 23D that needs a complete bolt. Do you still have any for sale?

I have a friend that wants to sell me a what he thinks is a Model 1922 but what
might be a 23a. Is the only difference in the serial number? Also, what is the knob
at the bottom of the magazine for?
Thanks Bill

Just a small handle to help pull the mag out.
You just grab it, push forward and pull it out.

Bill, the rear sight and the bolt are different. The 1922 bolt has a dual firing pin and looks like the top right two in the first photo in this posting. Serial for the 23A start at 25000 per the parts list.

Right up there with the Savage orange. That one's getting kind of old. How about a Savage grapefruit or maybe a Savage avocado?

Arthur was born in Jamaica. So the most desirable would be the Savage breadfruit.
