One thing we haven't been touching on is timers. What are you guys using? And, how have your times been? I know I shot way too fast (that's what she said).
I've been using a Competition Electronics timer for years. It's a good one if anybody is in the market.

If you're saying that using a Taurus would have incurred the wrath of our most honorable judge, then I dodged a figurative bullet yesterday. I darned near shot the course with my Tore-ass 44 special.  Seems like such important information might should have been included in the instructions ...

Travis I've been using a Mississippi timer. It's kinda distracting, but effective.
4 out of 5 Great Lakes prefer Michigan.

Travis I use a CED timer. Used it yesterday, too, and I was too quick the first go-round as well. Using a timer helps you to slow down when you're trying to go fast, if that makes any sense...

I first learned that trick shooting Bullseye. Ten seconds for five shots ("rapid fire", forsooth!).
Shooting a couple thousand rounds over the winter in Bullseye matches makes your shooting at the start of IDPA/IPSC in the spring a lot smoother.
