Pre 64 Standard 30/06 courtesy of our own BSA. I picked it up today and mounted the scope in some pretty cool old Redfield rings BSA donated. I'm proud of it and look forward to shooting and hunting the old rifle. I have horrible lighting for taking pictures indoors but did manage one decent enough to see it. I'll have to get a few outdoors asap. The rifle fits like a glove too!

JOC was right. The 270 Winchester on a Model 70 is a great combination as is the 30/06 and 375 H&H

Looks great with that 2.5-8 Leupold buddy. I can't wait for the range report. It should shoot lights out for you. I'm proud to be able to pass on the good deal to a friend like you!!!!I know you will take good care of that rifle, it's a good one.....

Outstanding trigger job too. Finish looks real good, hard to tell in my pictures but it does bring out the wood. A real nice shooter which by the way is exactly what I wanted. Length of pull was spot on. wink

That's a beautiful rifle. I had a new supergrade in my hands last weekend and I think they need to do something with that funky colored extractor. It sticks out like a sore thumb sick

Alright, here's my latest find. 1959 Alaskan 338 win mag. It's in very good condition, but has been pillar/glass bedded and whoever did it did a damn fine job. I will re-do the barrel channel eventually. I'm pretty sure it's going to be a shooter:

Trigger's adjusted to 2.5 pounds and it's ready to shoot!! Check this bedding out guys:

Like I said, I'l re-do the barrel channel, but that's pretty easy to do...
