I picked it up today and mounted the scope in some pretty cool old Redfield rings BSA donated. I'm proud of it and look forward to shooting and hunting the old rifle. I have horrible lighting for taking pictures indoors but did manage one decent enough to see it. I'll have to get a few outdoors asap. The rifle fits like a glove too! JOC was right. The 270 Winchester on a Model 70 is a great combination as is the 30/06 and 375 H&H

A real nice shooter which by the way is exactly what I wanted. Length of pull was spot on. JOC was right. The 270 Winchester on a Model 70 is a great combination as is the 30/06 and 375 H&H

It's in very good condition, but has been pillar/glass bedded and whoever did it did a damn fine job. I will re-do the barrel channel eventually. I'm pretty sure it's going to be a shooter: Trigger's adjusted to 2.5 pounds and it's ready to shoot!!
