Thanks for the info, that's longer than what I was thinking. Good to know though I have the APA bottom metal going on a 6.5x47 build.

Have a good one.

I always could. When I had the chamber reamed to AI, I specified an AM kiss at just a hair shy of mag length. wink

Now I have room to chase lands for about 0.170", and still fit in the mag. grin

Ooohya I forgot you punched that bitch. At least now you have lots of room to chase laugh

My atlas should be here any day now and my Sako Hunter should be ready soon.

Still need an action though laugh

I'm thinking that rig would fit in at any Tac match, and we know how well you shoot it....

That is a sweet rig for sure!

Every time I open this thread I get flooded with ideas on how to get to something similar.

The Razor is sweet, what did you do with your PST? and why did you change?

I wish we had more Tac-style matches around here. In the mean time it'll be recreational steel killing and paper hunting grin

I changed because I had a chance to get a Razor for a little more than I paid for the PST. The PST had a fleck of dust settle onto an internal lens, so I sent it back to Vortex and upgraded to the Razor. The PST was absolutely awesome mechanically, and optically it was very very good, as well. I was totally happy with it, I just wanted to upgrade. Of course 134 MOA of usable elevation doesn't hurt, either! grin

72 MOA takes it to a mile. The PST was able to do that with the 67 MOA available up, plus 5 MOA on the reticle.

I'll zero it tomorrow, so I'll know how much "up" I've got left after that, but I'm assuming I'll zero 20 MOA below the mechanical zero, which means I'll have 87 MOA of elevation remaining. That'll get me to 1880, then it's just a matter of getting a 40 MOA base so I can get 107 MOA of "up", which takes me beyond 2000 yards. And that's about as far as I think I care to take a .243 105gr bullet wink

I'm loving this reticle. Here are a few pics taken at twilight right after dusk. Crappy photo quality- the image looks MUCH crisper and brighter, in person. Taken on 5x, 12.5x, and 20x.

Can't talk to you about those but I can on the 6.5x47L! It does this on a regular basis:

That's from 1000 yds. This clanger is 20" diameter.

Here's another from 600 on a 5" AR400 clanger:

That's ten rounds.

Here's the rifle:
