Was not aware of the temp thing w/H380, good to know as the closer it gets to 100 degrees here in jersey the better the chuck hunting. I am staying back 2 or 3 grains without issues now but it is still cool here. Thanx.

Tried again but with new Win. cases and had no pressure signs and it shot as well as I can at 200 yds. Varget is good stuff.

35.5gr Varget, 55gr Sierra bthp[#1390], Win. cases, Fed 210 primers and OAL of 2.345" has always been an ideal load in my .22-250.Rifle is an Savage 112 FVS, 26" barrel, Timney trigger.Very accurate!

36.5gr varget, std win primer, Nosler brass 55NBT in my Sako forster is MAX for it. Primer pockets starting to loosten up and i am going to back Varget down to 36gr MAX.

I just loaded 50rds-IMR3031 to test fire tomorrow and have IMR4064 next

is that extra 25fps worth detonation?

My 22-250 did not like Varget. Best group was 1 inch at 100 yds. H-380 will do that at 200yards. Both with 55 grn. V max

"Very accurate" means different things to different people. Varget has shot 3/4" in my 22/250's, and that is in the suck department for me.

55grain Berger/35.0 Varget/CCI 200/ W-W case seated .005" off is darn near a one holer in my 22-250. I used to shoot 300yd benchrest with that load and did well.
