HI all:

Does anyone know the Weaver one or two piece base # I need to mount a scope on a Remington model 750 carbine? This is a brand new gun and I can't find the Weaver # anywhere in my research. Thanks all,

Richard

Anything that will fit the 7400/7600 will fit the 750.

That would be a #62 Weaver base....

Gh - thanks for the #.

I have several odd/end weaver scope pieces. If I have a 62, I'll give it to 99n250.

It'll be this afternoon before I can look.

99 - You are LUCKIER than I am..

I just looked in my stash....The FIRST thing I picked up was...

you guessed it. Weaver # 62 scope base.

I have a little bag of screws and I'll check em out and send those that fit the closest and long enough to extend thru the base.

If you'll PM your mailing address to me, I'll send it to you. Free/ no charge.

As HEAVY as they are, I'm sure S-H will be $20.00 grin laugh (kidding)

Grasshopper helped me out and gave/sent me a shell holder for my 6.5 Swede

SO I am paying it on down the line.

GH - Thanks, but I certainly didn't forget. It meant a lot to me. Not so many $ worth but the philanthropy.

This world had a dearth of good will, consideration, or sympathy, or so it seems TOO OFTEN.

It's like a breath of fresh air.

It's the # 93 base you want , the #62 is for the 760/742 series of rifles , that use 6-48 screws and the holes are also spaced differently . The #93 for the newer guns 7600/7400/750 uses 8-40 screws .

Okay, I'll let 99in 22250 determine EXACTLY what he needs.

I know there are some differences but am NOT up on it and I don't have a list any longer.

IF he can use my 62, I'll send it to him. IF it's the 93, I can't help him.

THANKS for the info.

Jwall... Fear not! smile If he needs the one with the 8-40 screws, I have one... smile

I had forgotten that the 7400/7600 used the larger screws... And what the previous poster stated certainly made sense.

99_in_250

If you need the one with the larger screws, just PM me your addy and it will be on the way...
