JOC was right. The 270 Winchester on a Model 70 is a great combination as is the 30/06 and 375 H&H

Well, I had a few offers from the members who owned 300 H&Hs, but didn't see anything that that really excited me.

I had several members refer me to Perry County Fireams in Central PA, and I gave them a call. They actually had several to pick from and I chose a 1955 with a raised comb and in 95 to 97% condition.

I also had a member offer a couple of boxes period W-W 180 gr Silvertip Ammo that I accepted.

Thanks to all that contributed.

Have a look.

You are winchester poor and not a bad state to be in. I had a 7mm Laredo, anotherone I souldn't have let get away.

I was in Frank Church on the Salmon back in mid April. Very rugged and beautiful country.
