You may have to contact McM to see if they will do a stock with edge fill to get below 24oz.

I've used a few T3 stocks over the years and this is what they weighed:

1. T3 factory plastic - 29oz
2. T3 factory wood - 30oz
3. T3 B&C - 35 to 36oz
4. T3 Wild Dog carbon fiber - 27oz- See pic below

I have been also searching for a lighter stock, at this point the MPI at 24oz is looking good but I think that is without a recoil pad.

On my .270 rebored to 35 Whelen the factory T3 plastic came in at 31oz and my B&C was 34.5oz but with the Whelen I did not sweat the extra 3.5oz BUT for my Tikka superlite I would definitely like to cut several ounces so I would be interested to know what you find lighter.

BTW the McEdge for my Finnlight was 25oz.

MPI should be able to make a much lighter stock if you get the lightest layup
