OP nimrod1949 Campfire Tracker N Joined: Apr 2009 Posts: 3,522 north idaho	I'm always looking for the weights of parts and pieces of rifles for builds so when I have a part seperate I try to remember to take pictures for future reference. I've got the parts to a Rem 700 SA waiting for a barrel so I thought I'd post some of what I have. SS Rem 700 223 size bolt ~12 oz PTG Rem 700 223 size bolt w/ aluminum shroud ~11 oz Leupold VariX-III 2.5-8x36 ~11.5oz old style Remington 700 Barreled Action w/ sights, rings, bases ~5# 11oz old style Remington 700 stock ~1# 15oz Bansner HTS Remington Model Seven stock finished/bedded at 13.75" LOP with 0.6" pachmayr declerator ~24oz Bansner HTS Remington 700 as delivered out of the mould ~20oz [img]http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q129/nimrod1949/Photo0242.jpg[/img] I'll add to it as I dig stuff out. Please feel free to add to this with any parts and pieces to any rifle.

Hopefully it's OK if I go into my photobucket account and see what I've got? Lightweight Mauser 98 PAWS bottom metal Husqvarna 98 steel bottom metal. I later Swiss cheesed this unit and didn't loose 1 ounce.... Parker Hale Mauser 98 Aluminum??? alloy bottom metal Leupold 6X Compact Cheap Bushnell rings - still USA made though. Wildcat Composites 98 Mauser stock - no pad, no bedding. Hopefully that was OK for me to add here sir and was useful to someone out there this morning.
