PMS?

It usually takes me a while to get the whole story out of my daughter on grand injustice matters such as this....

This story is six years old.The two people,who were arrested, were found not guilty of running a stop sign.They subsequently sued the police officer and won the case.

A city traffic court judge found a tourist arrested for asking directions in Cherry Hill after an Orioles game not guilty Tuesday of running a stop sign.

In courtroom drama unusual for the city�s Wabash Avenue traffic court, Judge Kathleen Sweeney said there was not enough evidence to convict Josh Kelley of Chantilly, Va., for running the stop sign.

The arrest of Kelly and his girlfriend, Llara Brooks, ignited controversy after they said Baltimore police officer Natalie Preston arrested them for asking directions. The couple claimed that Preston refused to help them after they became lost trying to find Interstate 95 after an Orioles game.

Kelley said under oath that Preston was hostile.
�She said, �You found your way in, you can find your way out,� Kelley said.

Preston said under questioning by Nathaniel Fick, the couple�s attorney, that they never asked for directions.
�They did not,� she said.

Cross-examining Brooks, Preston seemed defiant as officers in the front row of courtroom shook their heads and chuckled.
�Did you ever ask me for help?� Preston asked.

�Yes, ma�am, I did,� Brooks responded.

After the trial, Fick would not say if the couple was planning on filing a lawsuit against the city.
�We�re pleased with the judge’s verdict,� he said.

For crying out loud. You can't expect our resident cop basher to be posting current examples can you? He's run out of those. Cut him some slack.

You can't run current examples here. When you do you're greeted with "It's too soon to know anything about that case yet. It needs to go to trial first and have everything fully hashed out." Naturally, if you wait till after it's all fully hashed out in court, you're greeted with "Can't you find anything current?" So it's a lose lose.

Looks a little young to be a cop.

Clearly they were not arrested for that reason, and once again you have shown yourself to be a complete jerk. A dishonest one, at that. And it is no defense to say you're simply repeating the dishonest statement of those two nitwits as told to the TV reporter.

Good grief. The guy posted about a cop who got way out of line and you guys can't help yourselves berating him instead of discussing the video.

I know he says some things that are a bit off sometimes, but the original post wasn't that bad. I think everyone can agree that the cop in the video was an idiot.

It's pretty easy to test that claim. The software for this site permits one to list all of any member's posts as far back as you like. I welcome anyone to do so.

There's a great deal of self-perpetuating mythology about yours truly that's been generated around here by the usual suspects. The purpose of this mythology is to discredit. The motive for discrediting has to do with being unable to refute actual arguments with counterarguments. It's really that simple.

Don't believe the mythology. Think for yourself. Test people's assertions.

If you have been here for four years you would know that regardless of this post, that TRH is agenda driven. This post is just another example of his morbid need to 1)annoy certain people, 2) try and make others believe that the bad cops out number the good ones, 3) revenge his deep seeded resentment for LEO as he couldn't be one, and 4) and this is the most important of them all, TO BE THE CENTER OF ATTENTION.
