Have any of y'all hunted or familiar with Area 16 in WY for Antelope? Any ranchers allow access there for a reasonable price? Public land recommendations?

Any info will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Tim

Check the WY fish and game website call the local area office where you are hunting for the Landowner list or check website for Walkin Areas in your hunt area. Also check in website for the Hunter assistance list.
Good Luck!

Hunted there a couple years ago. Uncrowded access to decent pronghorn ground was tougher than expected. The big public areas on the eastern side of the unit are pretty rough and we didn't see many antelope at all. Ended up going out Tipperary and north and found a couple good bucks, but that area wasn't available the next year. I'd call around and look for private trespass.

Thanks guys. From the looks of the maps, it looks like tough hunting from public land.

when are you coming ?

Know a couple ranchers that might for a trespass fee.

It will be $750 to $1000 easy though.
