At least he has cell coverage. I've heard wilderness is scary with bears and stuff.

That could be the smaller Mitchell, was it the 303?

Exactly what I was thinking, great old reels. Especially if you had a spare bail spring along...grin

We had a bunch of these as a kid; I think my dad found a sporting goods store on closeout in the early 70s and so I grew up with everything from 308s to 300s to the larger saltwater reels. My favorite was the 410, which was a 300 with saltwater components and a high speed retrieve.

My dad kept them going for a long time but was having a harder time finding parts. He switched to a Penns for saltwater use.

Is that high desert muley blood?

Democracy is not freedom. Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to eat for lunch. Freedom comes from the recognition of certain rights which may not be taken, not even by a 99% vote.

That looks just like one of Ingwe's photos.

What season? Chukars?

Deer opened Sept 29th this year on the west and most controlled hunts on the east side as well. I hope you're not waiting 'til this week to buy your tag 'cause if you are, you [bleep] up.

Ok Jeff ... story time. Spill it.

Don't underestimate Jeff O guys. Despite his hard headed "post your load" type arguments, he managed to start using the very bullets, calibers, guns, and techniques he pretended to know something about before he actually used them. If he killed a good one, he should dedicate the buck to all the people he drove crazy for the last 3ish years.

I really hope he got a buck that he is happy with.
I would never ride a guy for taking any deer that he is happy with.......
as long as he isn't busting someone else's balls for the same thing.

Well ok, except Ingwe.
